RU12 Gallery is a cozy, creative corner on Tiwa land in Wells Park Albuquerque, celebrating the vibrant spirit of local art and handmade goods. We showcase a curated mix of contemporary artworks, artisan-made merchandise, and one-of-a-kind finds that speak to the curious, the creative, and the community-minded.

Our name, RU12, is a playful and inclusive invitation—are you one too? An artist, a maker, a dreamer, a collector, a wanderer. We believe art should be fun, approachable, and woven into everyday life. Whether you're here to discover something new, support local artists, or simply soak in some good vibes, you're always welcome.

We are Queer, Transgender and Nonbinary focused.

Mission Statement

At RU12 Gallery, our mission is to create an inviting space that celebrates local creativity, fosters meaningful connections, and makes art accessible to everyone. We amplify artists and makers from New Mexico and beyond, curating unique works and handmade goods that spark authenticity, strength, resilience, joy, and a true sense of belonging for queer, transgender, and nonbinary folx.

Through exhibitions, events, and everyday encounters, we aim to nurture a creative community where everyone—artist or admirer—feels seen, valued, and inspired to ask, “Are you one too?”

We host rotating exhibits, pop-ups, and events that highlight the diverse voices and visions of New Mexico's creative scene. Every piece in our space tells a story—and we’d love for you to be part of it.
